Author Showcase: George L. Cook III

My latest showcase takes us back to the future (sorry) for some tantalizing action from a guy who is still in the early stages of what will no doubt be a memorable career. It's my pleasure to introduce you to George L. Cook III, a man with multiple titles already available online. And while I'm at it, I'll throw in a deadly preview of his current work.
George attended Virginia State University and was a member US Army/ NJ National Guard 1991-1994. In 2004, he released his first writing piece, Let's Talk Honestly and in 2009 he was appointed to the Hillside NJ Board of Education. A year later, George won an election to keep that seat and was named Vice President of that Board.

Sounds like a busy guy and yet he found time to mold his artistic bent into a completed work that's worth a read. While there are minor areas that need some polish (punctuation and spelling), it's not enough to ruin a great story. And that's what will keep readers coming back to George Cook. He tells a great story.

So, grab a beverage and cop a squat in your favorite chair while you enjoy...

The US Army doesn't run from an enemy -- living... or dead. In the year 2053 the dead walked. At first, mankind was caught off guard. But within six years, they mounted a massive assault on the dead.

These are the stories of the men and women who fought back. These are the stories of those trying to find a “cure.” These are the stories of those who just tried to survive the nightmare.

And these are the stories of those who caused The Dead War.

My suggestion is... you probably don't want to read this one on an empty stomach. Go ahead! Jump on over to AMAZON to get a copy of George's zombie tale now!
